Ed. Sharmazanov met Olympic champion
On June 3, the NA Vice president Eduard Sharmazanov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania in the RA Erikas Petrikas and Lithuanian basketball player, Olympic champion Sharunas Marchyulionis. Eduard Sharmazanov highly appreciated Sharunas Marchyulionis’s merit in the development of Lithuanian basketball, who was distinguished with his mastery and was admired by his fans and sports lovers. NA vice president surprised Sharunas Marchyulionis with his knowledge of basketball. Sharunas Marchyulionis informed that the next day he will meet Armenian Basketball school pupils and will have courses with them. Issues connected with Armenian and Lithuanian cultural, sports ties development and cooperation perspectives were discussed.
