Festival named after Talalyan brothers starts

From June 4-8 viola and cello Republican 5th festival named after Henrik and Geronti Talalyan will be held in Yerevan (artistic director Aram Talalyan). A number of concerts will be presented within the frames of the festival- “Armenian- Swiss chamber music”, “Viennese classics”, “Armenia and Artsakh gifted youth”, “Viola”, as well as concerts dedicated to Armen Smbatyan’s 60th and Tigran Mansuryan’s 75th birthday anniversaries, 90th anniversary of foundation of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and 15th anniversary of creation of Aram Khachaturian Trio. By the way, foreign musicians partake in the festival with their own initiative, as according to festival’s Artistic Director Aram Talalyan, the festival doesn’t have such financial resources. For the first time the festival will cooperate with State Youth Orchestra.
