Azerbaijan’s act of sabotage averted: Armenian soldier killed
Azerbaijan started another act of sabotage in the southern direction of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan on the night of May 28. The front divisions of the NKR Defense Army took relevant actions to rebuff the attack. According to preliminary data, the Azerbaijani side sustained losses: two were killed and one was injured. One man was killed from the Karabakh side. Lance corporal Erik Gasparyan, 19, was killed during the attack. The NKR Defense Army shares the heavy loss and extends condolences to the family and friends of the serviceman. Probe into the details of the case is under way. The front troops of the NKR Defense Army currently keep the situation along the Line of Contact under control.
