NKR Defense Ministry on the death of Lieutenant Colonel
On May 25, Lieutenant Colonel Garik Balayan was shot dead as a result of firing from the Azerbaijani side in the southern direction of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan. NKR Defense Ministry extends condolences over the heavy loss and expresses its sympathy to Balayan’s family, relatives and friends. Probe into the case is underway, the Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministry reports.
