Political analyst: OSCE mediatiors' appeals are formal statements (video)
The calls of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are simply impartial, formal statements made by the mediators, says political analyst Hayk Balanyan. "They made similar appeals during the heated moments of the Karabakh war, but the appeals did not change the situation," the political analyst told A1+. Speaking about the statement of Karabakh Committee member Ashot Manucharyan, who said on Friday he sees great possibilities for the resumption of hostilities and this time the war might be started by Armenia, Hayk Balanyan said, "The statement can be linked to domestic problems. He [Ashot Manucharyan] presented his position and substantiated Russia's presence in Armenia."
