Member of the Karabakh Committee Ashot Manucharyan says there is a possibility for the resumption of hostilities. He says the war can be resumed by Armenia, rather than by Azerbaijan. The events in Ukraine increased the likelihood of war. "Both sides will fire shots and then Russia will start a peace process in the region," he said. He says Russia is today rebelling against the world order but Russia is punished for its steps in Ukraine. Asked whether Ilham Aliyev's absence from Azerbaijan during a visit of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs does not speak of a certain attitude towards the OSCE mediators, Mr Manucharyan said Azerbaijani has always been displeased with the Minsk group. "Advisors to Azerbaijan's President recommended assuming a definite posture and the model of confrontation. Azerbaijan's number one problem was Iran and until recently they have been arming against Iran with Israeli weapons, which, at some point, could be applied against Armenia and Russia," he said adding that the format of the Minsk Group does not have any connection with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Then Ashot Manucharyan began criticising political figures in Armenia. "They behave like Conchita Wurst [an Austrian signer who won the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest]. At least, they try to be like Conchita because they care more about bodily pleasures than about work."
