On 22 May Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received participants from the NKR who won prizes and received certificates in the final stage of subject Olympiads among schoolchildren held in the Republic of Armenia. The President congratulated the pupils and their teachers, the responsible individuals of the republic's education and science ministry for victories worthy introducing Artsakh in Olympiads. Bako Sahakyan handed in valuable gifts to 27 pupils who won prizes and received certificates in the final stage of the Olympiads as well as financial awards to the teachers of the schoolchildren who won first and second degree certificates. The Head of the State considered important the subject Olympiads both for revealing and encouraging children who showed excellent results and for increasing the level of education, developing positive trends and filling in the existing gaps, adding that the state would continue keeping the education sector in the spotlight.
