Representatives of Gyumri’s Shirak Centre NGO had to pass numerous damaged roads and obstacles to render assistance to another vulnerable family living in a remote village in Armenia. Only thanks to the driver’s efforts was the group able to get to the place. The Khachatryan family consisting of six minor children moved to the village a year ago. The family lives on social benefits. Employees of the NGO were met by hungry and barefoot children at the doorstep. The parents named their fifth son Serzh in honour of the Armenian President, hoping that in that way they will be able to attract the attention of the authorities. But alas… even the name did not help the desperate parents to alleviate the social burden. Details are available in the video of Shirak Centre NGO.
