Armenian Defense Minister: Any political decision should be based on expert analysis
Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received on Friday OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Ambassadors Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Jacques Faure of France, and James Warlick of the United States of America), as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the situation along the Line of Contact, specifically the situation following the February 5 visit of the Co-Chairs. The Armenian official briefed the OSCE Minsk Group on the major incidents along the Line of Contact and shared his view of relieving tensions and building mutual confidence. Stressing the importance of traditional meetings with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, Seyran Ohanyan noted that any political decision related to the settlement process must be based on an expert analysis.
