Criminal case initiated against Gevorg Safaryan, he is in hospital (video)
A short while ago it became clear that civil activist Gevorg Safaryan is in the Second hospital of Armenia (near Margaryan hospital), and at this moment he is under medical care. As a result of violence by the Policemen there are injuries on Gevorg’s body and the knee is seriously damaged. The Pre-Parliament informs about it. Police press department head Armen Malkhasyan told “A1+” that a criminal case was initiated against activist Gevorg Safaryan. “The case was initiated according to the Criminal Code Article 316 first part,”- said Mr. Malkhasyan. We remind that 7 activists fighting for Mashtots park were arrested. They have demanded not to rename the park after Misak Manushyan.
