According to the report, evidence has been extorted by violence
A criminal case has been brought under Article 309, Section 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia based on the materials prepared in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia according to the report of Gevorg M, a prisoner of “Vanadzor” Criminal-Executive Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. According to the prisoner’s report when being arrested with the suspicion of committing a theft, the officers of Stepanavan Criminal Investigation Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia beat and cursed him, for which reason he admitted that he had committed the theft. The preliminary investigation is being conducted. SIS
