Whose movie will be the best?
Today at Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiarian at 19:00 National Cinema Awards Hayak solemn ceremony will be held. The award is held by the National Cinema development foundation with the support of RA Culture Ministry, Armenian National Cinema Center and with the financing of Afina Pallada company. “Hayak” award includes the movies of Armenian directors as well as the movies of Diaspora Armenians and foreign film producers on Armenian topics. Armenian movies will be presented in 16 nominations (best film, best director, best screenwriter, best operator, best actor, best actress and so on). For Diaspora Armenians and foreign directors there is only one nomination- “Best movie”. Ruben Mamulyan, Hamo Beknazaryan, Sergei Parajanov awards will also be given, as well as special awards by RA Culture Ministry and Armenian National Cinema Academy. This year Hayak will host famous filmmakers and artists.
