Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has urged the administration of Armenia TV Company to review their decision concerning the dismissal of two employees.
This came after the TV Company dismissed a journalist and mounter for misspelling the Prime Minister’s name during a broadcast. They had written Havik Abrahamyan in the subtitles.
“I learnt about the dismissal of the employees from the press. I am sure that this was a technical error and I do not welcome the dismissal of employees in similar cases,” Hovik Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook account.
