Domik in Gyumri city are de-energised (video)
At least 3-4 homeless families turn to Gyumri’s Shirak Centre NGO every day, requesting the NGO to pay their energy debts and assist in the restoration of power supply. The debt accumulated during the winter months when these households used energy to heat their homes as they could not afford to pay for gas. However, Shirak Centre is not able to help all families who live in terrible conditions. This time the NGO has visited a handicapped woman who lives alone in a small 'domik' -wagon-like temporary tin house. The house has been de-energised for four months as the woman has not paid for electricity.
