A group of experts of the National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA) is scheduled to visit Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) today within the framework of an accreditation procedure.
From May 5 to 14, the group will visit ASUE branches in Gyumri and Yeghegnadzor where they will make checkups based on international standards. Also, the experts will hold meetings with university’s rector, vice rectors, deans, department heads, students and university graduates.
Before the experts site visit, Universities had already submitted their self-assessments to ANQA using the required form.
After the visits, the experts will finalise their observations and the panel chairman will present the final report. An improvement plan for the educational institution will be drawn up based on the report.
The expert group involves experts from Armenia, an international expert [from Poland] and a student.
The purpose of accreditation is to determine whether the educational services correspond to specific educational goals and are equivalent to the requirements of the society and the government.
