Inmate who nailed his toe refuses medical treatment
One of the inmates of “Vanadzor” penitentiary, who nailed his toe on April 29, refuses medical aid, Head of the Penitentiary Department of the RA Ministry of Justice Gor Ghlechyan told A1+. Artur Smbatyan, 39, does not even allow doctors to come near to him to treat the wound. The ministry official added that the inmate is posing illegal claims and wants to be moved to another prison. Prison representatives are now persuading Smbatyan to meet doctors and receive treatment.
