On May 6, civil activist Vardges Gaspari will hold a protest outside the house of Stepan Demirtchyan, a lawmaker from the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) who represents the faction at the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs.
In an interview with A1+, Vardges Gaspari said he demands that a public report be submitted on the activity of the HAK representative on the Committee in the last two years.
“I am greatly concerned about the state of human rights,” said the civil activist.
Earlier he turned with the same demand to the head of the HAK parliamentary group, Levon Zurabyan, HAK Secretary Aram Manukyan and HAK MP Stepan Demirtchyan, but so far he has received no reply.
Gaspari will stage the next action outside the house of HAK lawmaker Levon Zurabyan.
