Hovhannes Sahakyan to chair NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs
On April 30, the National Assembly will elect the next chairman of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs. The post has been vacant after the chairman of the Committee, Davit Harutyunyan was appointed minister. Pursuant to the Rules of Procedure of the Armenian parliament, the right to nominate a candidate for the position belongs to the Republican Party which yesterday named Hovhannes Sahakyan for the post.
