Answer to Nalbandyan’s letter
UNO Human Rights Higher Commissioner Navi Pilay answered RA Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan’s letter, where the Minister expressed concern about the situation created as a result of terrorist groups’ attacks in Syrian Armenian Kessab city and neighboring villages. Navi Pilay informed in his letter, that his regional human rights control team follows the situation and have already spoken with many families, who were evacuated as a result of attacks. He assured that in Kessab and neighboring villages human rights situation will be included in the upcoming report of UNO General Secretary according to Security Council 2139 resolution.
