Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence on the death of Constantine Orbelyan
President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence to the Orbelyan family on the death of great musician, National Artist of USSR and Armenia, recipient of the Order of Honour and St. Mesrop Mashtots Constantine Orbelyan. “Maestro Orbelyan has great contribution to the development and spread of contemporary Armenian music. He led Armenian State Orchestra for 36 years giving new quality and vigor to the orchestra. His songs have always been popular among the audience and have become the national property. Works of Constantine Orbelyan will always stay on the pages of Armenian music history and in the memory of generations. I express my deepest condolences to you and share your grief,”- is said in the RA President’s letter of condolence.
