The Union for National Self-Determination (AIM) led by Paruyr Hayrikyan is holding a rally at Republic Square in Yerevan.
In his speech, Hayrikyan said they were to gather at Liberty Square, but had to move to another square because of the Heritage Party.
“I am tired of confronting the Heritage. I have sent a letter to the Municipality, but they said Heritage will occupy the area for a month, but they are not holding any event there. Let [Hayrikyan Leader] Raffi and his partymates decide what they want to do,” said Hayrikyan.
He said they have another letter for Serzh Sargsyan and promised to read it out a bit later. After the rally, the party will march to the presidential compound to hand in the letter and receive an answer.
