Armenia’s first President meets with Polish Ambassador

Armenia’s first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan met on Fiday with Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzisław Raczyński.

During the meeting initiated by the Polish diplomat, Levon Ter-Petrosyan briefed Ambassador Raczyński on the political situation in Armenia and obstacles impeding establishment of democracy and rule of law, economic and social progress.

Ter-Petrosyan stressed illegitimate authorities, emigration and systemic corruption among the major challenges.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on issues of regional and international policy, particularly on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and Armenia-Turkey peace deal.
