Tribute in Gyumri
Today, on April 24, on Armenian Genocide victims commemoration day, Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan visited Herher Dzor (Jard Dzor), where he paid tribute to Genocide victims memory. In his speech the Mayor noted that modern Turkey must recognize that crime as genocide against Armenians organized by Turkey and must apologize to our nation, otherwise modern Turkey’s all announcements and assurances, directed to Armenian and Turkish society, are fake. Samvel Balasanyan also took part in tree planting near Genocide victims monument area. Samvel Balasanyan’s Press service informs about it.
