Armenian, Russian FMs discuss Karabakh peace deal

On April 19, Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian visited Moscow, where he had a working meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

The two men discussed the course of implementation of the agreements reached between the presidents of the two countries, and referred to a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda.

The foreign ministers also exchanged views on international issues and discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. In this context, the diplomats underscored the need for joint efforts by the conflicting parties and the OSCE Minsk Group mediators towards reaching a peaceful settlement to the conflict.
