Hrant Melumyan finishes 3rd in Australian tournament
Armenian chess player Hrant Melumyan finished 3rd at the Canberra chess tournament, Australia. In Round 9 held on Monday, Melumyan beat Australian chess player Bobby Cheng to score 7 points. The Armenian chess player was awarded 1500 Australian Dollar (AUD). Romanian chess player Dieter Nisipeanu became the winner of the tournament with 7,5 points.
