Putin is really afraid of Ukraine, says Turchynov

Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of attempting to destroy independent Ukraine. “Putin is really afraid of Ukraine as Ukraine gives a good example to other post-Soviet countries that people are free to determine what kind of government they like or dislike,” Turchynov was quoted as saying.

He said Putin is not satisfied with annexing Crimea and wants to fully destabilise the situation in the country.

“Destabilisation of the situation in the country’s eastern regions, especially in Donetsk is a blow to the entire country,” said Turchynov.
