Church construction in Shirak region suspended (video)
The Ministry of Culture, Primate of the Shirak Diocese, architect and head of Basen community cannot are at loggerheads over the construction of a church in the community. In the results, the construction has been temporarily suspended. Avetik Melik-Sargsyan, head of the Shirak Regional Service for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Environment, says the construction is carried out in violation with the law.
