Hovik Abrahamyan is no longer MP (video)

The Central Election Commission of Armenia has terminated the powers of Republican lawmaker Hovik Abrahamyan, who was appointed the country’s prime minister earlier this month.

The CEC also drew up a protocol to give the mandate to Lernik Aleksanyan, the next candidate on the electoral list of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). Talking to A1+, CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan said Lernik Aleksanyan has not renounced the mandate.
