Chairman of the World Union of Yezidis wants to meet Armenia’s newly-appointed Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
“I think Hovik Abrahamyan will be able to correct the situation in the country. We shall meet and speak. I am an economist and academician. We shall discuss how to improve social conditions in rural areas. It does not matter whether these communities are populated with Armenians or Yezidis,” Aziz Tamoyan told A1+.
He says concrete steps are to be taken to solve the issues in the country, and one should not be satisfied with beautiful words.
Aziz Tamoyan was proud to say that he knew Hovik Abrahamyan personally.
“If possible, convey him my congratulations,” he said.
