Before the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the four non-governing forces – Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun), Armenian National Congress (HAK), Heritage and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) announced their intention to start round-the-clock rallies at Liberty Square on April 28. However, the resignation has changed the situation, making the four parties to remove the issue of rallies from their joint agenda, Head of the Dashnaktsutyun faction Armen Rustamyan told reporters on Wednesday. “It does not matter how many ministerial portfolios you have, one, two or …twelve, because you will no longer be viewed as opposition. We either assume the full political responsibility or we do not. We will maintain the attitude typical to opposition unless the seven clauses we have proposed are accepted,” he said. Armen Rustamyan said that the seven clauses proposed by his party were not accepted by the opposition parties either; otherwise they would have already proposed joint political decisions.
