Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharian met Tuesday with President of the Republic of Lebanon, General Michel Sleiman.
The interlocutors hailed the level of bilateral relations and discussed the possibility of their expansion. They also emphasized the importance of close cooperation within international organizations.
Ambassador Ashot Kocharian conveyed President Sleiman Armenia’s deep concerns over the events in Syria’s Armenian-populated town of Kessab.
The two men also dwelt on regional issues and the political situation in Lebanon.
At the end of the meeting, the Lebanese President asked the Armenian diplomat to convey his warm greetings to Serzh Sargsyan.
