Armenian national illegally crosses Armenian-Turkish border

A resident of Armenia’s Artashat city has been found guilty of attempting to illegally cross the Armenian-Turkish border. Bagrat Nazaryan is charged with Article 34-329 (Part 1) of the Armenian Criminal Code. By a decision of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions, Nazaryan must pay a fine in the amount of 100 times the minimum wage - 100 thousand drams. According to the indictment, on September 27, 2013, Nazaryan entered the territory of a military unit of the Russian FSB stationed near Burastan village in Ararat region, went across the field to the Armenian-Turkish border, and bypassing the checkpoint, tried to cross the border without proper documents.
