Hovik Abrahamyan's powers not terminated yet
The Central Election Commission of Armenia has not yet received a protocol from the National Assembly on early termination of powers of NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, CEC spokesperson Hermine Harutyunyan told A1+. However, Serzh Sargsyan has already signed a decree to appoint Hovik Abrahamyan Armenia’s Prime Minister and introduced him to the Cabinet members as the head of the government. It is still unknown who will replace Hovik Abrahamyan from the Republican Party’s list. Republican Lernik Alexanyan comes 113th on the list following by Gagik Melikyan.
