Davit Harutyunyan to become Justice Minister? (video)
Republican lawmaker Davit Harutyunyan was not surprised to learn that Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan would become the country’s 13th prime minister. “I believe that the party has made a right decision, given his (Abrahamyan’s) professional experience at the National Assembly,” said Mr Harutyunyan Asked whether Hovik Abrahamyan would work better than [former prime minister] Tigran Sargsyan, the Republican MP said, “Life will show who worked better. Each era is characterized by its problems and I think that the challenges our country is facing today can be taken up in the best way by the government led by Hovik Abrahamyan.” Davit Harutyunyan was also asked about his alleged nomination as Minister of Justice. He said he would not like to make early predictions as the new government will be formed within twenty days. The activity of each Cabinet minister will be reviewed and reassessed and decisions will be taken based on priorities. “Eventually, this is a political process,” he said.
