First legal dispute between social media in Armenia
Hetq.am, an online newspaper published in Yerevan by the Investigative Journalists NGO, has filed a lawsuit against Arajin Lratvakan (www.1in.am) news site, accusing the latter of copyright infringement and demanding an adequate compensation from the site. This is, perhaps, the first legal dispute between media over copyright violation. Grisha Balasanyan who represents the interests of the claimant, says Arajin Lratvakan Ltd placed on its website two articles of Hetq without any reference. Details are available here
