Minister of Economy Vahram Avanesyan says he was surprised to learn about the resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
“Whether I shall remain in the new government or not depends on what kind of a government is formed and, of course, whether I am offered to stay in government,” Vahram Avanesyan said.
Speaking about Armenia’s accession to the Russian-led Customs Union, the Minister said nothing will affect the process. “If the new government takes a different decision on the issue, it must have grounded and compelling arguments. The government will continue its work and the process will continue at the same speed and without delays.”
