Never have the authorities in Armenia been as weak as they are today, a senior representative of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) told ilur.am.
Ararat Zurabyan says the resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan provides a good opportunity for the four opposition factions in parliament to press for the resignation of the ruling authorities.
“The resignation of the Cabinet was the first step on this way and we can considered the first round already completed. Now we are heading for the second round where we shall demand Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation through nationwide rallies,” he said.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan tendered a letter of resignation on Thursday evening during the sitting of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK).
