“Gender” projects have been approved
Today the Government approved woman and man equality policy, gender-based violence prevention events annual projects of 2014. According to the official data, there is hidden discrimination toward women in Armenia. Today gender-based violence issue is still actual. Armenia’s geopolitical and social-economic situation, unemployment, illegal migration, imperfect legal field leads to an increase in gender-based violence. It is expected that the decisions will contribute to the perception of equality of men and women and gender-based violence prevention. RA Government
