Prime Minister turned to CC decision on pension reform (video)

Today Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan before the Government session, after turning to awful agricultural situation, announced that funded pensions’ law has power from January 1 to September 30, 2014, the date, which was set by the CC. He also noted that a working group will be created, legislative package will be developed, and anti- constitutional norms will be reviewed, “It is an exceptional opportunity also for civil society representatives to take part in law drafting to improve the system. I turn to them once again and call for a dialogue.” Then turning to Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan, Prime Minister asked him to give details. “The law is considered constitutional till September 30. When there are changes in the law by the Government and the NA, since that time new regulations will be operated and CC norms will be recognized anti-constitutional,”- noted Justice Minister. We remind that yesterday the CC recognized a number of provisions in Pensions reform law   anti-constitutional , but they will operate till September 30.
