Recent days’ weather bad conditions won’t affect the birds flying into Armenia and those already in Armenia.
In the conversation with “A1+” Deputy Director for the Protection of Birds in Armenia Lyuba Balyan said about it.
“Migration of birds into Armenia starts on May and I think that the weather won’t affect the birds. Now only storks flew down from mountains to Ararat valley. But the weather won’t frighten them as they are used to be in Armenia during winter.”
The cold and snow, according to Lyuba Balyan, can affect several species of birds, which migration has already started, they are several species of sparrow like and predacious birds.
