Veteran Gagik Sarukhanyan agrees with the orientalist. According to him, Armenia must have had special units, which would protect Syrian Armenians. Gagik Sarukhanyan is sure that Kessab events are genocide. "Help your brother" project council member Khachik Jozikyan also agrees with genocide qualification but it isn’t just against Armenians.
