Heavy snowfall is expected to continue in Syunik region and Artsakh in the early hours of March 31. The temperature will drop to -5-6 in Tavush, Ararat plain and Syunik.
The weather will warm up again on April 1, with the air temperature rising by 8-10 across the republic.
As reported earlier, a swirling mass of Arctic air moved to our region from the Barents Sea last week, with the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Hydro-Meteorological Service Centre warning about possible frostbite, strong winds and heavy snowfall in the country.
Precipitations are expected in eastern regions and thunderstorm in separate regions on the night of March 31. No precipitation is expected on April 1-4.
