Levon Aronyan’s third defeat

Armenian strongest chess player Levon Aronyan had his third defeat at World Champion Candidates tournament.

Today in the 13th round our Grand Master faced Russian Dmitrey Andreykin with blacks. They started very actively and exchanged queens very fast. Levon Aronyan failed to make a placing and the king appeared in a hard situation.

Our chess player tried to stop opponent’s transition soldier but in vein. Levon Aronyan surrendered on the 44th step.

So our chess player couldn’t reach tournament leader Vishwanathan Anand, who has one more point and irrespective the result of the last round, he will preserve first place.
