Speaks to Kessab city head every day
“If Kessab Armenians return to Armenia, we will accept them as all other Syrian Armenians.” Today it was announced by RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan. “We will provide them support as to Aleppo Armenians, we will help them in employment, education and other issues. But Kessab is Armenian territory since 14th century and I don’t want Armenians to leave it because of the conflict,”- she said. Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan assured that she speaks with Kessab city head every day and gets information on the situation from him. Hranush Hakobyan assured that everything is under control, “Our delegation is also there, all work. Financial support has been provided and will continue. We applied to all Armenian communities, Armenian National Committee already works. They send many letters to Obama in order to stop violations against Armenian community in Kessab,”- added the Minister.
