Ararat Zurabyan: We should overthrow Serzh Sargsyan and the government (video)
Addressing the crowd gathered at Liberty Square for a rally organized by the opposition Heritage party, Manvel Gasparyan, Chairman of the Democratic Way, said their struggle should start from the square. “Nowhere in the world can a struggle be carried on without people,” he stressed. Ararat Zurabyan, a member of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh), added that people should continue the struggle until they overthrow Serzh Sargsyan. “Today the opposition forces in parliament are referred to as ‘non-coalition forces,’ you can hardly hear the words ‘opposition or oppositionist.’ But let me tell you that only the opposition can rise up and fight against the authorities. We should overthrow Serzh Sargsyan and the government,” he said. “We want an Armenia without political prisoners, without this two-headed monster that does not want to leave his throne,” said Mikael Hayrapetyan, Chairman of the Conservative Party.
