'Round' building of Zvartnots airport will not be demolished (video)
The old building of Zvartnots International Airport will not be demolished, Grigor Azizyan, Chairman of the Public Council’s urban planning sub-committee said on Friday. Several days ago he participated in a discussion on the maintenance of Zvartnots airport held at the General Department of Civil Aviation adjunct to the RA Government and they came to an agreement. “Their representatives say the building does not meet seismological standards and is very dangerous, while our engineers say the opposite. We agreed that architects should develop a program which will be discussed at next meetings,” said Mr. Azizyan
