The Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia has convened a consultation chaired by Minister Armen Ashotyan. The participants discussed issues related to the implementation of programs in the sector.
Among other issues, Minister Armen Ashotyan focused on the pending merger of State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) and Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction (YSUAC) and instructed to create a working group to deal with the issue. The group will include rectors of the two institutions, members of teaching staff and students. The group will study the possible outcomes of the unification and draft a corresponding government decision.
