Seven men, five women in Weightlifting Championship
Armenian Weightlifting Federation presented 12 sportsmen in the European Adults Weightlifting Championship in Israeli Tel Aviv, which starts on April 3. Smbat Margaryan (56 kg), Vanik Avetisyan (69kg), Arakel Mirzoyan, Tigran G. Martirosyan (both 77 kg), Aghasi Aghasyan (85kg), Ruben Aleksanyan and Hayk Hakobyan (both +105 kg) will perform in men’s tournament. Five women are presented in women’s tournament- Elen Grigoryan (48 kg), Anna Govelyan (53 kg), Christine Petrosyan (63 kg), Meline Daluzyan (69 kg), and Hripsime Khurshudyan (+75 kg). 34 countries take part in the European Championship. There will be 253 weightlifters- 139 men and 114 women in Tel Aviv Championship.
