Theatre Institute rector’s position is still vacant
Contest for rector’s vacant position for Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema wasn’t announced yet. It was informed to “A1+” by Education and Science Ministry Information and Public Relations Department head Arthur Baghdasaryan. According to the law, the contest can be announced six months after the position has become vacant. “There hasn’t been order by the Minister yet, if there is we will provide”- said Mr. Baghdasaryan. Now temporary replacement of the rector of Institute of Theatre and Cinema is general affairs and financial and economic vice rector Hovhannes Minasyan. The rector’s position of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema is vacant from January 8, when Rector Armen Mazmanyan died.
