Serzh Sargsyan, Vladimir Putin talk on the phone

Serzh Sargsyan today had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The two men discussed bilateral cooperation, as well as referred to a number of regional and international issues, including the implementation of agreements on Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and the crisis in Ukraine. The two leaders also exchanged views on Crimea’s reunification with the Russian Federation. They also dwelt on the Karabakh peace talks. In this context, Serzh Sargsyan hailed the efforts of Russia, as an OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing country, towards achieving a peaceful settlement of the conflict. He also reiterated Armenia's willingness to continue the talks within the format of the OSCE Minsk Group.
